We used this website to learn about what happened before the Greenwich was established and how it was used to help mariners at sea.
- "Prime Meridian". GMT. Greenwich Mean Time - World Time/ Time in every Time Zone. 08 Jan 2010. <http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/info/prime-meridian.htm> This website taught us a lot about what happened during the International Geographical Conferences and the International Meridian Conference in the 1800's.
- Bellis, Mary. "Sir Sandford Fleming (1827-1915)." About.com. Web. 14 Feb. 2010. <http://inventors.about.com/od/fstartinventors/a/SandfordFleming.htm>. We used this website to gather information about Sir Sanford Fleming, the inventor of the 24-hour-clock, which is based on the Prime Meridian.

- Arnold, Nick. The Terrible Truth About Time. UK: Scholastic, 2002. Print. This book is one that we already owned before beginning this project, and it helped a lot with understanding the concepts of the Prime Meridian and its impact on communication and travel.
